I had this misconception that shaving head strengthens hair. But after much research I found out it only seems that the hair has become thicker as it becomes short! I will never cut her hair so short. Jian's curls were my most favorite feature about my little angel. It just broke my heart, every time I had to shave her head. So don't be a dummy like me & do some good old research about doing something for your kid before listening to old myths created by backward people who don't have other things to do & advice you on parenting when they live completely in the dark & they themselves don't know what they are talking about!!
